In this 4-day class we will take you through everything from stripping old finishes, metal work, filler work all the way to paint, hydro graphics and cut/buff. We will be “restoring” a few different front clips from Auto Metal Direct, taking you through all the fine details like perfecting gaps and panel to panel along the way!

This is an ALL HANDS-ON CLASS

LUNCH, SNACKS & DRINKS Provided all WEEK.

Class break down:

Day 1: stripping old finishes, metal work, perfecting gaps, prepping metal work for panel-to-panel blocking, proper metal prep using the dx metal prep system, proper application of epoxy to bare steel, types of DTM primers.

Day 2: prepping epoxy for filler work, understanding proper use and types of body fillers, panel to panel blocking, blocking techniques, proper application and types of primers over filler work, priming over filler work.

Day 3: proper blocking techniques of primer, paint prep, masking, painting, laying stripes, spraying candies and custom tri coats. Explanation of hydro graphics. 

Day 4: sanding and polishing finishes, curing clear before buff, sanding techniques, buffing techniques and processes.

 

All meals, materials and PPE included. Once you sign up and place your order, we will contact you with hotel/class information.

We ship from our warehouse in Antigo, Wisconsin. Processing under normal circumstances (not backordered or during sale / high order times) is 1-2 business days.

We ship using UPS or USPS (selected by customers at checkout).

Warranty

All Linear Blocking Tools are backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty. Coverage includes product failures caused by normal use and normal operating conditions. Damage caused by misuse, abuse, accidents, unauthorized modification, improper storage, or cosmetic wear is not covered.

Returns / Refunds

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for unused items in original condition with original packaging and proof of purchase.

Custom Color Basecoats, OEMatch Basecoats, mixed paints, opened or used items, final-sale items, digital products, and gift cards are not returnable.
