Rigid vs Flex vs Ultra Flex — Quick Guide

Rigid: Flat panels only — hoods, roofs, deck lids. Also great for rough-cutting body filler.

Flex: The everyday workhorse. Follows gentle curves while keeping a true surface. The 18" flex is the most used block on any car.

Ultra Flex: Compound curves, rolled fenders, dramatic body lines. Longer blocks = more flex. The 32" wraps fenders that no other block can follow.

Great long block for curved flat areas that you want flat but have a curve to them. Worked wonders on my 69 Camaro roof that was all dented, pitted and wavy. Great customer service- very fast and responsive- thank you

32" Ultra Flex Block Rocks!

I've been doing some very nice curves on a very old fiberglass monocoque Lotus Elite Type 14 with custom streamlining aerodynamics. The 32" Ultra Flex Block is absolutely phenomenal in perfecting all those curved and reversed curved panels! In the lesser curved areas like panel to panel with the door and boot lid I start with several sized Flex Blocks and 1" rounds and true the form very quickly around about 80% of the car. Then I go for the 32" Ultra Flex Block to easily dial the whole car into perfection! This after doing years of repairs on stress cracks, normal bodywork and creating NACA Ducts, flush fit front and rear windscreens, recessed headlamps with headlight cover fitments and directional signal lamps as well as a whole "Costin Nose" refinements as well as a double reverse angle Kamm tail construction and body seams, makes all my hand sanding to bring it all together so much easier with unbeatable laser straight curves you just can't achieve with anything else! ***Please pay attention to promotions, as I also received a FREE Fisheye Filter with my purchase!
